25.01.2022 We aim to embed the Indigenous culture of our nation into our daily teachings, across all age groups. This helps us scaffold respect and an understanding of the traditional owners of the land. Recently, Uncle Gary has joined us to extend our thinking through story and music. What makes this even more special - is Uncle Gary is a grandfather of one of our Senior Kindy friends!

Dinosaurs have been involved in all areas of our play, both indoors and outdoors. The favourite activity was making a paper machè volcano and making dinosaurs out of fruit!

Last week, we received our information pack from Green Heroes, introducing Xena and telling us a little bit about her background. ... We are so proud to be able to help the native wildlife and our little minds have already been coming up with some great ways to help Xena... and all the other animals!!

During this time, she has held the position of Float, Assistant Educator, Lead Educator, Assistant Director and Owner of a two room service, in a small country town. Sharon loves seeing the children grow, develop and become more confident in themselves. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and exploring the great outdoors - even enjoying the odd game of Netball!
