Not too long ago, on the 4th of March, I spotted some lumps on jorjas neck, they were quite noticeable and big. I immediately took her to the doctors and we had blood tests and ultrasounds completed that day. By the 6th of March, results came back-Hodgkins lymphoma. The following week, Jorja was transferred to Tamworth Base hospital with suspected sepsis. She recovered in a day or two, but we ended up staying in Tamworth for 2 weeks under the watch of the oncologist. She has gone through numerous tests including ultrasounds, blood tests, PET scans and biopsys. She went through two biopsys, one being inconclusive. She was then taken to Newcastle for a PET scan. The results came back, stage 4 lymphoma with a total of 20 tumours including growths on her lungs, spleen and other lymph nodes throughout her body. Jorjas current plan of action is chemo for 6 months as well as fertility treatment as the likelihood of her having her own children after treatment will be low. Jorja is 2 treatments in, she has starting losing her hair and has become very withdrawn from every thing. Our family have never experienced anything like this. Weve all heard of cancer but we never thought itd grab hold of someone so close. We are struggling with how to support Jorja emotionally and mentally through this time. Meaghan Brown Jorjas Mum

22.01.2022 F*ck Cancer was a huge supporter of sleapys day 2017. Even world heavy weight boxing champ Lucas "Big Daddy Browne" loved our snap backs. This was a great event to be apart of and our association with Sleapys day will continue into the future.

07.01.2022 It seams things are quiet here at f cancer, but things are in full swing behind the scenes. We have some exciting new releases in time for the cooler weather. And also we are bearing gifts. Here at F cancer we are all about making peoples journey a little easier with their treatment and battle with this terrible disease. We have proudly given $500 in fuel vouchers to 2 local families to assist in there travel for treatment. There is plenty more of this in the future.
