Dundee local William Talbot was we...tting a line on Monday using live bait - snagging the 70cm fish. Major Events tracked the barra- finding it had been tagged last month at Bynoe Harbour, travelling 64km to the Finniss before being caught. See more

23.01.2022 TwoJays Farm Stay, NT So we don’t usually post too much about specific places we’ve stayed but we have to mention this rippa place in Bynoe, on th...e way to Dundee Beach. John & Julie have only recently opened their property to campers so it’s not well-known yet. They have both powered & unpowered sites for $25 & $20/night respectively, & brand new en-suite-style amenities They have a cabin that sleeps 8+ too, a little shop, & plans for alfresco dining They’re located just over an hour away from Darwin & about half an hour away from Dundee Beach, with their property backing onto the Finness River so good to get the boat out for a fish (if you have one that is ). We had planned on just calling in here to pass on a ‘hi’ from John & Julie’s grand-daughters who go to school with our boys but decided to stay the night too, pity we could only stay 1 night as we had to get to Katherine for a van service. John & Julie are lovely hosts & kept the boys busy & happy, feeding the animals & driving around in the buggy. John was even brave (or crazy!) enough to let Jake have a drive himself They also took us to a neighbouring property to let the boys feed old mate’s Barra If you’re in the area, definitely put TwoJays on your list! Your kids will love it.
