22.01.2022 Why corporate video doesn't always have to look like corporate video... Working with the Corporate Affairs team at CitiPower Powercor United Energy, we're often struck by how the orgnanisation celebrates the great work of their teams. When asked to produce a corporate video featuring quotes by satisfied customers as part of a content and activation campaign, we were excited to help bring the successes of their team to life. Instead of simply producing corporate videos, we dev...eloped a branded concept, built a campaign, with teaser videos, a launch video, activation zone and printed collateral, creating a complete experience. All content featured CitiPower and Powercor team members. Ensuring a team member is comfortable enough to deliver a good performance takes patience and empathy. A sense of humour certainly helps too! The resulting video campaign achieved massive cut through and engagement. Are you using video to elevate your corporate comms? Approaching it like a campaign with multiple elements, consistent and arresting visual tone and strong messaging can push content, driving greater engagement across your business. #corporatecomms #corporateaffairs #video-production #corporatevideo #corporatevideos See more
22.01.2022 Internal audience? You still need to compete for their attention! Just because they work in your business, does not mean your team will read or watch your internal comms content. They’re already consuming content across platforms content from friends, creators they love, brands they follow and celebrities they admire.... So, if you’re going to the effort to say something to these people, don’t waste their time make it count! We’ve developed a custom approach to video content for corporate comms, taking learnings from 20 years in the advertising world. Put these strategies to work to take your comms to the next level, ensuring it’s noticed by the people who count. 11.01.2022 The past two months have been a crazy ride for all of us. A big thanks to our fantastic clients our partners for continuing to work with us. And a HUGE thanks to our amazing team who’ve not let the distance, the limitation of upload speed or the lack of fun times together stop them from producing brilliant work. So let’s keep working together. It may not be business as usual but there’s still business to be done!... Stay safe. We'll see you soon.

09.01.2022 Friday and the world is still turning. And our Richmond community still needs good coffee. @7gcafe is the best. Support your local cafes.
07.01.2022 Are you communicating with your team in a time of crisis? Even if a crisis doesn’t affect your business directly, it’s important your team knows you’re on top of it. The outbreak of Corona Virus has received steadily increasing media coverage since the back end of January. Blanket coverage has brought with it fear as best evidenced by toilet paper panic buying, violence in supermarkets and the suspension of sporting events. As the situation worsens, financial markets have f...allen and Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison has gone from spruiking the likelihood of a budget surplus to fending off questions about a looming recession. Maybe your team figure they’re safe from the virus but, against this backdrop of blanket coverage, they’re more than likely wondering how their employer plans to deal with it. What is the strategy to help keep everyone healthy? If forced to shut down for a period, can the business sustain itself? If forced into isolation, will team members still have access to the tools needed they need to do their job? With talk of an economic downturn, is there a plan to protect the profitability of the business and hopefully continue to grow? This is about empathy. It’s about connecting the dots between any topic that’s causing anxiety in the community and your business. If you’ve got concerns, chances are your people do too. This is your chance to get on the front foot and, explain measures you’re implementing to meet the situation head on preventing a worst-case scenario or, should matters deteriorate, the plan to address that turn of events. If there’s one thing we can learn from our friends in the political sphere, it’s that, if you stay silent if you create a vacuum another voice will rise to fill that void. And that voice may not be on message. And guess what? You’ve just lost the initiative. Now you’re behind the story, trying to catch up rather than taking control of the narrative from the get-go. So, get out in front early. Even if there are still plans to be finalised, let your team know that the people they rely on to keep them employed (and safe while working) are on top of things. Let them know you have a plan. Keep the plan fluid and keep the up the communication as things change so that you’re always controlling the narrative. Ask them about their concerns, ask if they have questions and either respond or undertake to do so quickly. Remember, if the population at large is concerned about an issue, that means your team is concerned. You can reassure them that when it comes to their work, you’re doing everything possible to protect them.
