15.01.2022 Anybody know this guy?? For those who haven’t met him - this scallywag is Lance Grant, one of our awesome stage performers and committee members! Lance has been selected to trek the Kokoda Trail next year whilst mentoring and supporting a young person who is the child of a fallen or seriously ill Police Officer. This journey will give a young person who may be doing it tough a life changing experience in an supportive environment with other Police Officers. ... Lance always gives 110% to anything he commits to and we know he’ll give his all to this cause. If you can, we’d love for you to get behind this wonderful cause. There is a Go Fund Me page with all donations going to SA Police Legacy to help fund the trip. If you would like to donate, please follow the link in the comment below (COVID-19 restrictions may affect the timing of the trip, in that case it will be postponed not cancelled, so all donations will still be sent to SA Police Legacy to help fund the event)
15.01.2022 2020 Production Announcement Two Wells Melodrama Group have decided to postpone its 2020 production Baked Beings Reheated until 2021. As you would imagine this was a difficult decision to make. However our committee members were unanimous in taking a responsible position with respect to the health and well-being of our people - our members, volunteers and patrons. ... We have been guided by government and medical advice with regards to COVID-19, in particular the need to limit public gatherings in order to protect the vulnerable. While our show is currently simmering, we will be back in 2021 with renewed vigour and a fresh serving of Baked Beings Reheated. We wish you all well and look forward to seeing you next year!

A new date will be advised as soon as possible, being determined by the current situation playing out. Please let us know of any issues this may cause, it is paramount that the safety of all our members and supporters be put first.
12.01.2022 TWMG held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday November 13, with no surprises in the committee line-up, virtually unchanged since last year. President: Lance Morgan Vice President/Treasurer: Eleisha Arbon Secretary: John McInerney... Committee: Brian Wilson (musical director), Sam Batson (stage director), Janene Lynn (costumes), Anne Arbon, Kay Boon (tickets/promotions), Lance Grant; observer Gwen Blesing (asst. musical director). Anne Arbon led members in a brief dedication to Founding Member Bet Williams, who passed away recently. A note of best wishes was extended to character actor and script writer Sarah Williams (no relation to Bet), on the pending birth of her first child. Brian Wilson has stated his intention to step down from the committee and his musical director role after the current term, after many years of dedicated service. Early stages of the 2020 show are now under way, with script being finalised and songs being organised. Performance dates will be during the last three weekends of May 2020, but yet to be finalised. Rehearsals will start in late February 2020.
