19.01.2022 2 year old Thoroughbred Filly Day 1. When a horse is first brought to me for their education process, these are some of the very small drills I often begin with. In the video this filly had only arrived a few hours ago, so I had her walk around alone in the round yard for a while to settle into her surroundings before I begun to engage her. I am simply getting some free lunging going with the stick and bag to get her attention and see how easy it is for me to move her feet, ...how flighty she might be and to introduce her to the stick and bag, a fundamental training tool.
