15.01.2022 Last Minute Change!! Thursday 19 November - PHOTO MANIPULATION! You've been asking for it, so we're delivering! Because it is such a big topic, we are moving it up so you can make your "holiday" (Christmas/New Year/Hanukkah etc) cards. Learn how to save photos, send photos, and store photos. We'll cover storage devices, posting to Facebook, sending via SMS (text message), emailing, and transferring to a computer.... Bring your notebook, device, any portable storage you may have (like a USB drive), and of course, your questions! (The Android workshop will now be on Thurs 26th in tandem with the Apple workshop.) 06.01.2022 An article of interest to our members, especially those who studied art under the late Murray Goodes. Watch from 32.36min mark of ABC News last Sunday. Thanks to member Jill A for passing this on. Jill says, "Murray was such a wonderful person - our U3A Art Teacher. He was patient and very giving of his time and knowledge." Murray will certainly be missed as we attempt to get back to normal next term.

03.01.2022 The Thursday evening, monthly Book Club with a Twist has been running for several years and has a full complement of members attending and following our very popular programme with a difference. Maggie Cope has volunteered to run a daytime session, using the same programme, but with her members making their own, independent choice of topic each month. The Monday Book Club will be held at Maggie's home at Riverdell, Hillier EVERY THIRD MONDAY AFTERNOON from 2 - 4 pm. The ne...xt meeting will be on 15th March. The topic set for this month is A book set in snow, ice or a polar region". It can be fiction or non-fiction - your own choice. At the meeting everyone will share what they have gleaned about the book and its author with the other attendees.
