17.01.2022 As we head into summer, we’ve updated our ‘Can I fly there?’ app with the latest fire and emergency operations for all Australian states and territories (except... for the Northern Territory). Flying your drone over or near a bushfire could put people, property or other aircraft at risk and could cost you more than $1000 in fines or penalties. Don't go near bushfires or any other emergency situation with your drone. Remember, drones must not be operated in a way that creates a hazard to another aircraft, person or property. Be drone smart check out droneflyer.com.au for helpful videos, a run-down on the simple rules and quick quiz to keep your drone flying fun and safe.
