25.01.2022 Today the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) changed the age recommendation for COVID vaccination. ATAGI recommends the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine as the preferred vaccine for those aged 16 to under 60 years. For people aged over 60 years AstraZeneca is still recommended. People of any age who have had their first dose of the COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccine without any serious adverse events should receive the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
