Also, be advised that CNSW will be hosting a Senior Online Registration Webinar delivered via Microsoft Teams (online). They will be running through how to set up registration forms and products, and preparing to accept online payments. Included will be information on how to create custom questions, how to add sale-able products, and use of discounts. 17.01.2022 The Australia Day 7s Gala is going to be held Tuesday 26th January at the Bill Rose Sports Complex. Team Nominations close at 8:30am on the day with matches planned to get underway from 9:30am. Team fees are $100 per team payable at the time of nomination.... Balls will be provided on the day.

16.01.2022 Last night the Executive and Board of Management met to discuss the 2019/20 season end and looking forward for the 2020/21 season. Firstly, it was decided to award both major premierships to the minor premiers of A and AR Grade, congratulations to Belltrees and Rouchel respectively. At this stage, depending the Covid-19 situation, a date for the UHDCA Presentation has not been set and we are looking a few possibilities.... Finally, with the majority of senior winter sports being cancelled we are also investigating options for running a modified preseason competition - so watch this space.

Lake Mac Attack Northern Inland Bolters Women’s game starts at 11am featuring Central Coast Rush Northern Inland Bolters Congratulations to Ben Crackett who has been selected in the 15 man squad for the Hunter Hitmen.

12.01.2022 It’s wonderful to see that interest in cricket is alive and well in the Upper Hunter (even in the middle of winter, let alone in the middle of a global pandemic). By way of an update, I would like to confirm that we communicated with all clubs and committee members several weeks ago when there were indications that community sport may be able to resume - our question was basically would we like to finish the season on the field by trying to play finals during winter if this ...could be arranged? We received very little feedback. The feedback that we did receive was in the negative. This leaves us in a position where our local rules or playing conditions do not deal with the circumstances that we find ourselves right now and therefore a committee meeting is required to resolve whether or not we award major as well as minor premierships this year. Due to the significant work commitments leading into the end of the financial year I had asked the executive to hold off on calling a meeting until at least July. I have my personal views on how the 2019/20 season should be resolved, however I do not believe it is appropriate to share those views on platforms such as Facebook and I will reserve that discussion for our committee meeting. Thankyou to all of you who share our passion for cricket on the Upper Hunter. 09.01.2022 Unfortunately grounds in Scone have been closed and upon inspection this morning games have been washed out today. This means games are moved to Sunday with a ground inspection tomorrow morning.

09.01.2022 To assist CNZ selectors, a google form has been created so players can nominate for consideration by the selectors for the CNZ Opens team this season. The link for this form is https://forms.gle/us5t324neh5REQq97 Nominations will be open until the 12th of October 2020 at that time I will download nominations and forward them onto the selection committee with a Zone team to be announced by 31st October 2020.... Could I please request that you share this information to all association contacts and share the CNZ Facebook post to Council and Association Facebook page to extend the reach.

04.01.2022 The new MacCallum Cricket nets are officially being opened this afternoon at 3:30pm for anyone that would like to attend... Keep in mind social distancing requirements

03.01.2022 NSWCUSA will run a course on Laws of Cricket at Maitland on 19th and 20th September. The venue yet to be determined. Two day Course will go they the Laws of Cri...cket which will allow you if you so desire wait and Examination and if successful you will be invited to be NSWCUSA accredited umpire. On average about 90 percent who sit the examination pass. The course is to set you up for success not to fail. For non NSWCUSA there is a small fee to be paid prior to the day to cover the supporting information for you. This is UHCUSA preferred option of accreditation to become an umpire. As it will provide as number of avenues for you to be considered to umpire at high levels and provide UHCUSA additional numbers to appoint at various levels. Current UHCUSA members ones with Local Accreditation are encouraged to attend. I have been asked can you attend by logging in online. Not sure yet. UHCUSA is likely to run a Local Course close to season start. This will allow you to Umpire Saturday District matches and some junior representative matches.
