25.01.2022 Our last club training day for the year, the heat wasn't quite as fearsome as predicted, which kept a few people away, Lyn had an unfortunate accident with one of her horses so did not attend but our good club members stepped up to carry on with the Christmas Tree Trail pattern and workouts for the little kiddies. Sunday saw a stockhorse based challenge pattern with another obstacle course to keep things interesting. A Troop drill started off Sunday morning that was quite a popular exercise. Thanks to Rowdy, Janelle, Bianca, Rachel and Ken who doubled up instructing on both days. Don't forget to get some raffle tickets with the horse feed, wormer and vouchers up for grabs that will be drawn at the meeting this week.

We are helping TRAS to run the Big Day Out at Murwillumbah Showgound on Saturday 7 November (annual Murwillumbah Show Date) Program will be out this week, there is something for everyone! The program has been tailored to suit our members with a full hack program (including beginner events), a full sub-junior - under 10yrs- program, western trail, time trial and sporting events for only $25 for as many events as you are eligible to enter. Volunteers can contact Rachel to enquire how you can help. Workers needed for marking out the set up, then on the day timekeeping or ride and support with your nomination.

17.01.2022 The November club traing day is on the 28th and 29th, we have been getting strong inquiries to attend but due to Covid restrictions and protocols it is only current club members that can attend. There will be no club training day in December, stay tuned for possible dates in January and February. Memberships cease on 31st December, if you are a current member you may renew (not yet) your membership online with Member Jungle, this will save an enormous amount of time and paperwork. Anyone interested in joining is to contact the secretary via email or direct message.

06.01.2022 Thanks so much everyone for your attendance and support of the TRAS Big Day Out horse event at the Murwillumbah Showgrounds. I received many compliments and comments on how many helpers we had and it was a great way to showcase what we do at our Club. What a team our Club has, great workers and supporters of the local horse community!

06.01.2022 A productive meeting last night has established the September events to come. Members can save the following dates: Saturday 12 September - Working Bee (all welcome) Saturday 26 September - Campdraft Practice Day (limited to 20 riders) Sunday 27 September - Club Day (Kids, Western/Trail/Sporting) Due to current NSW Health advice there will be no overnight camping, these will be separate events and will need to be pre-nominated. ... 06.01.2022 Hope people are getting excited for the sign on this weekend. Just a couple reminders, for those camping overnight there will be no catering so byo food and drinks, our sponsors Mt Warning Hotel will always welcome us. Please bring your portable yard enclosures as both sets of cattle yards are out of bounds this weekend. There will be a trail and sporting set up both days. Gates open 1pm Saturday- riding from 3pm. Riding Sunday from 8-11 to beat the heat. You must be a financial member to ride.

02.01.2022 Today’s sign on was well attended despite the heat. Welcome to our new members. Thanks to everyone who helped with gear setup and ground prep, the grounds are so good. More of the same tomorrow, sign on available from about 7:30am, ride from 8am, we will pack up at about 11am to beat the heat.
