20.01.2022 FRNSW Ulladulla is working to establish Community Fire Units at Narrawalle, Kings Point, Dolphin Point and Burril Lake. A Community Fire Unit (CFU) is a team of local residents living in urban areas close to bushland who are supported by Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) to enhance their safety and resilience to bushfires - see link below for further detail. 16.01.2022 This before and after photo sums up the last 24hrs. That was about as wild as a south coast storm gets. A lot of close calls and major damage around town but no one hurt, which is the main thing....Fingers crossed we get some good surf at the tail end of this wild weather as a consolation prize.
