This type of specialist house is expected to create superior ROI, underpin by NDIS funding. The SDA market, which is slated to become a $5 billion asset class, is regulated by the NDIA and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is now in its fourth year, will support $700 million in specialist disability accommodation payments annually. Participants in the NDIS have options to incorporate SDA into their NDIS Plans. SDA houses will have options for multi NDIS participants to share the same residence.
