21.01.2022 Morning. New week - new job

21.01.2022 Tight access footing works on one of our current projects. Double brick external walls were failing with severe cracking and failing footing systems, brickwork was hand demolished after temporary cantilevered support scaffold was erected. New footings are now poured and ready for brickwork. Stay tuned as we prepare to prep and pour infills inside this heritage lounge room.

19.01.2022 Under Construction Group Pty Ltd are looking for experienced concretor’s to join our team. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate the following;- -3 years minimum experience with concrete placement,screeding and finishing all to a high standard -able to read and interpret plans -able to work in with others and in a team environment -own reliable transport ... -be diligent and able to work overtime when required. In return you will be rewarded for effort, appreciated and be part of a safe, drug and alcohol free environment. Work is based in the Ballarat area but travel is required at times to other locations. 19.01.2022 Another one progressing well for a new client. Bringing an old playing surface up to standard with new drainage , compliant grade to overrun paving areas, lighting and new surface upgrades, new Ramos and access area. Design and construct are both on song here.

18.01.2022 Our crews are full steam ahead on many projects at present. The boys are progressing well on this one, looking forward to presenting some finished photos with all of the soft landscape to complement these seats and two tone washed agg paving.

17.01.2022 Current local project under construction footings and lift insitu over-run completed, and have recently poured the first floor slab. Stay tuned as we complete the ground floor slab and carpark civils.

17.01.2022 Recent local project completed. Works included import and levelling of site, detailed excavation of bored piers, and propping footings for tilt panels, first floor suspended slab, lift shaft and ground floor slab, carpark slab to undercroft and front paving including crossover. Has come up great. Great effort by the boys!!

14.01.2022 A project at Edenhope we recently put the hard yards in for one of our valued builders. Photos show progress from a bare site to detailed excavation, formwork, plastic and reinforcement and then completion with the placement and finish of 160m3 of concrete for the slab for the towns new community centre. Top effort

Duties include but not limited to:- -general labouring and assisting others with excavations and trenching, -general tasks required in concreting, placing and tying reinforcements, formwork etc. ... Applicants must have:- -a POSITIVE attitude to work and others -own reliable transport -CANNOT be allergic to a shovel, broom or crowbar -white industry card -flexibility to be able to work overtime, if necessary at times -have own reliable transport. -diligent -must be willing to take direction and willing to learn -those that need to have their phone every five minutes need not apply..
