23.01.2022 The Undera Football Netball Club are pleased to announce that all of our Senior Netball Coaches who were appointed in 2020 will be returning to their respective roles in 2021! A Grade - Amy Reid & Assistant Coach Kerri Ford B Grade - Cindy Batey C Grade - Tracy Hardie C Reserve - Sherryn Wall... Training will recommence for Seniors and the 17&Unders on Tuesday 24 November from 6pm. More information to follow for other preseason dates and trial dates in the new year. We look forward to what season 2021 will bring!!

19.01.2022 Undera Football Netball Club AGM This Tuesday 24th November 2021, commencing at 7pm outside at the Undera Recreation Reserve - covid social distancing restrictions apply. 13.01.2022 The Undera Football Netball Club were saddened to hear of the passing of David "Buck" McPhee on Thursday. Buck was a past player, coach and committee member of UFNC and a very much loved member of the community. Buck coached in 1997, 1998, 2003 & 2004 and were grand finalists in 1997, he was there when we were up and about, and he was also there when things were tough. With so many great memories and stories shared with him he will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with Buc...k's family and friends at this time. Undera photos provided by Bob Boyer from 2003.

13.01.2022 The Undera Football Netball Club are excited to announce we have appointed Darron Batties as Senior Coach for the 2021-2022 seasons! Darron has just recently moved to the Goulburn Valley area and comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience both playing and coaching in his time in the Melbourne Area and surrounds. As a player he has played for teams in the FDRL, WRFL, VFL and GFL. His coaching experience includes coaching teams in the WRFL, VFL, and CHFL. "In my time a...s coach I have been fortunate to have learnt from some great colleagues like Wade Chapman (Sydney Swans), Simon Atkins and Rod McPherson (Bulldgos) and teams have been relatively successful with over 40 finals coached and 11 grand finals competed in." "The thing that keeps me motivated and excited in coaching is the time you share with new friends whilst building relationships that help achieve a common goal. There has been some personal satisfaction watching coached players like Callan Ward, Jack Fitzpatrick and Majak Daw make it to the highest level and I hope and can't wait to see others hopefully have the same success." "As a new resident in the Goulburn Valley I am extremely honoured to be appointed as the Senior Coach at Undera Football Netball Club, and look forward to the club continuing on its recent rise up the ladder with some hard work and fun thrown in, and I am confident that we can achieve even better results in 2021." "I want to thank the Committee for their enthusiasm and confidence in selecting me, and I cannot wait to get involved and meet everyone as soon as restrictions lift." 12.01.2022 The Undera Football Netball Club would like to congratulate Sherryn Wall who was awarded a Life Membership of UFNC last night at our Christmas BBQ. Shezz joined Undera in 2009 coming across from Tallygaroopna. She has played 101 C Grade Games, 56 B Grade Games and 4 A Grade Games for Undera for a total of 161 so far and still counting... She has held many different coaching positions throughout her time at Undera, and has also represented Undera as an Interleague Coach on 3 occasions. She helped out with netball administration at first, and then joined the committee as a general member in 2012. In 2016 she took over the role as Treasurer, which is a role she has held ever since. Always putting in 110% for the club. Congratulations Shezz, very well deserved!

10.01.2022 The Undera Football Netball Club are pleased to announce that all of our Junior Netball Coaches who were appointed in 2020 will be returning to their respective roles in 2021! 17 & Under - Mikaela Thomas 15 & Under - Amber Phillips 13 & Under - Stephanie Barber 11 & Under - Sarah Press... We are now on the look out for Junior Players for the 2021 Season. We will lose a number of girls from our higher grades moving up into Senior Competition so if you know of anyone who is interested in playing Netball please reach out to any of our coaches or committee! We look forward to what season 2021 will bring!!

09.01.2022 The Undera Football Netball Club are pleased to announce that we have appointed Rick Heathcote as the Reserve Coach for the 2021 Season. Rick might be familiar to a lot of locals or players as he played in our Reserves side back in 2017. Rick has been playing footy most of his life. He started as a Junior down in the East Gippsland area and has played in a few different leagues over his years as he has moved around the state. He has played and coached in a number of Pre...miership teams in the late 80s early 90s, winning in 85’, 89’ 93’ and coaching a Reserves team to a premiership in 95’ and 05’. His success on field has also seen him runner up best and fairest on 5 different occasions. Good Luck Rick, we are looking forward to seeing what 2021 will bring! See more

04.01.2022 The Undera Football Netball Club Committee would like to congratulate Corey Turvey for being inducted as a Life Member of UFNC last week at our first Preseason BBQ. Corey came out to Undera from Shepp United for one year in 2004, and he enjoyed it so much he has stayed ever since! He has played 112 Senior Games and 128 Reserves games since then and has been a Reserves Premiership player in both 2009 and 2013 when he was the Assistant Coach. He has held many positions on the Committee in his time at Undera most notably as President from 2017-2019, then taking a step back in 2020 due to work and family reasons but taking on the Secretary role. A very deserving person of Life Membership and a great advocate for the Club, Congratulations Corey!
