23.01.2022 It’s possible we might look a little like this when we wait for the Premier’s announcements on Sunday. Though we might be getting our crazy face on a little, we’d like to assure our clients that we are doing everything we can to get back to seeing you face to face- we know you and your dogs miss us as much as we miss you! Enjoy Grand final weekend, and then get ready for dog training season- we’re going to hit the ground running!

20.01.2022 UPDATE- FACE TO FACE DOG TRAINING SERVICES NOT PERMITTED (We're still over a barrel like Oakley..) So it turns out Business Victoria are open on a Sunday. I have just got off the phone to them and been told the following- There are definitely no changes to our industry for the next two weeks unless Daniel Andrews brings forward the November 1st easing of restrictions. This means we still cannot operate face to face in any way, including contactless dog training walks, one on... one session in a park etc. At this stage, no changes for our industry are flagged for the 1st November either. This may change and I have been encouraged to keep looking at the DHHS website or call back to find out further information. We are deeply disappointed and distressed by this decision. As soon as it changes, we will be sure to advise our valued clients- we miss you all!

18.01.2022 Hooray! WE ARE RETURNING TO TRAINING!!! If you are a client with a previously impacted booking, please check your email as we have made contact this afternoon. Emails to all on our wait lists will be on their way by this evening. We are still confirming some dates for all of our group training options but expect to have enrolment dates at many venues available by the end of this week. ... If you know someone with a dog- or even if you don't- share this post to help us get back to what we do best- developing the best relationships between dogs and their owners!

17.01.2022 12 weeks old today! We are working on- Chasing thrown treats..... Dropping without a lure.. Targeting.. Following a food lure.. Walking on the lead (in front of the house).. and most of all, playing, playing and more playing!

16.01.2022 Trying to ensure we don’t only bring bad news to your newsfeed! Oakley had his first trip to the beach and though he was cautious at the start, he gradually got his confidence and had a brilliant time! An English Setter puppy has the most expressive, joyful presence- enjoy.

15.01.2022 Loose Lead Walking is like cake. Developing engagement and understanding lead pressure are your ingredients. Measure carefully. Mix well. Cook before icing. ... And no matter what, don’t let other people and random dogs ruin the batter or change your recipe before the cake cooks. How long will your puppy take to ‘cook’? Every puppy is different, but no puppy has finished cooking before 16 weeks. Take control of your pups learning and don’t let other people influence something they’ll never need to be responsible for! This is the most important thing you can teach your puppy

12.01.2022 Waiting to get back to training.. we spoke on 3AW this morning along with many other businesses hoping for the consideration given to the racing industry. We just want the opportunity to put forward our Covid safe plans and operate outside. Let’s hope we are considered soon!

10.01.2022 We know you think it's time to get back to training! (We do too!!) While the Premier has made announcements today, Sunday 18th October that we are confident will impact the running of our face to face training services, we'd like to advise all clients of our current position. The information provided has NOT been specific enough (as at 18/10/20) for us to have certainty regarding our return to training activities. We will be seeking advice directly from Business Victoria on ...Monday 19/10/20 and we hope that we will have specific, accurate information to provide to our valued clients after this time. However, it has certainly been our past experience that information takes a number of days to filter down to Business Victoria and then be passed on to us so please be patient throughout this coming week as we get direct confirmation regarding what we are able to do, at what time. Please also keep in mind that with regards to group training including puppy classes and group obedience, once we receive confirmation of dates from business Victoria, we then need to liaise with our valued venues regarding being allowed to return to them, to operate dog training services. We cannot confirm start dates or take bookings for classes until we have received permission to move back into the venues we use. We ask for your patience while we confirm arrangements and we will advise you of all our available options, as soon as possible. We really do look forward to seeing you and your dog for training, in person!

At this stage the work on offer is only casual in nature and though further opportunities may become available, if you require regular work with a minimum number of hours this is not the position for you. We are seeking individuals who are keen to take our popular group training and puppy classes and previous experience taking classes is very highly reg...arded. We do have high standards for staff and it is a high priority to maintain this as we grow.
