13.01.2022 Its been Great weather for getting this arena ready for the Arena Lights to go up. This customer has a lot of trees around their arena but only had solar as an option. The trees would shade the solar panels on the poles and stop the batteries from charging. So for this installation we are installing a solar array in a position where it will get full sun. We will then run cables down the sides of the arena in conduit to the batteries so the power from the solar array can cha...rge them. Its all low voltage so very safe and gives great results. 11.01.2022 Every now and then we see a really clever idea and can't resist but know more. Check these out, they are very clever. Uneek LEDs is now selling these Smart Cafe Tables. They are the size of a normal Cafe table and the smart thing is you can charge your device from it while enjoying a drink. The top is a solar panel and there is a battery inside it that stores the power ready to be used when you need to charge your device. It also features a Bluetooth Speaker so you can charg...e your device and listen to music at the same time. 08.01.2022 Uneek LEDs hopes everyone has had a great Holiday break. We are now back and into the swing of things. One question we get daily is what lights are best for me? Lighting levels can subjective to the person looking at it. If you put 2 people in front of an arena one may think its super bright and perfect for them, the 2nd person may ask if you can make it brighter :-) Here is our best attempt at explaining it, any feedback is welcome. The level of lighting really depends o...n the riding level and age of the people using the arena. Some customers just enjoy riding and dont take it too seriously. For them, its really just for fun. For these customers then our 100W flood lights are perfect. They give a good basic coverage and that is all they need. The budding eventing, dressage riders that practice hard need it a little brighter which is where our 150W solar flood lights are perfect. If you are jumping at night then the 200W flood lights are a must as they product a really bright even surface which is safe to jump under. No matter what your riding level, Uneek LEDs will always recommend the safest solution for your arena. Riding at night can be dangerous because of shadows etc so it must be safe and setup correctly.
