16.01.2022 Here at Wright College & Village, we are aiming to bring you some monthly updates about our very valued alumni! This month, we'd like to highlight the former Member for Tamworth (State) and New England (Federal) Tony Windsor. While studying Economics at the University of New England, Mr Windsor was a proud member of the Wright family. As an independent, he fought strongly for the views of people in his electorate, and since having retired from politics, he has published a bio...graphy and remains active in his local community. We wish Mr Windsor all the very best, and hope future generations of Wright alumni continue to make great contributions to their community!

09.01.2022 Beretts is back! Join us as we catch up with our fav sports presenter on Tuesday morning from 6am at Wright College, UNE! There'll be live crosses, breakfast and some entertainment for the whole community!

08.01.2022 The 2016 Tour de Cure Signature Tour, including 200 riders and support crew, stopped in at UNE this morning, marking the halfway point of their 1520km journey f...rom Brisbane to Sydney. Channel 7’s Sunrise program was on hand to document the occasion, broadcasting from the Wright Centre (the old Wright College dining hall), while a large contingent of UNE staff and students farewelled the tourists who included several Armidale residents and UNE staff members as they embarked on the second half of their journey. 07.01.2022 Check out our Volleyball team "All the Wright Moves" who have just won the UNE and Armidale Volleyball Club Division 3 competition over fierce rivals Earle Page College! Wright Wrighteously won 3 sets to 2 sending EPC packing after the nerve wracking victory which ultimately came down to the final set. Thank you to all the supporters who came down to support the team.

Following on from the spirit and traditions of our past Redmen, one of our students (Shane Ryan) has been putting together a team to play in the local Armidale Rugby competition. Shane had this to say about the team: "It's a very exciting time for us and we're hoping to make a big impact in the 3rd and 4th division next season!" 03.01.2022 The Wright College and Village leadership team have recently returned from their training retreat in Sawtell. They spent 3 long, but productive, days learning how best to serve our residents in 2016 with some of the biggest, and best events Wright has ever seen, as well as ensuring all our residents receive the best pastoral care and academic assistance possible!
