24.01.2022 Our girls in Canberra this weekend, parading with Raio de Sol Canberra Community Samba Band and Bateria 61 Grupo De Samba in the National Multicultural Festival 2020. We had a blast and parading with a number of other samba groups and community organisations, and our Princesa made her debut on chocalho!! 22.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that amidst the ongoing developments of the COVID-19 virus that Unidos De Sydney samba school will be postponing all passista training until the end of September. This unfortunately also means that our Harmony Day jam is also on hold until further notice. This decision has not been an easy one. We love dancing and love the opportunity to share it with the community, but the health and safety of others is of paramount importance. During these diffic...ult times is when we need to support each other as a community the most. Lets remember to be kind to one another, support each other in whatever way we can... and most of all to keep on dancing!! #cantstopthesamba

07.01.2022 The East Sydney Community and Arts Centre, our beloved training ground, has had to take measures to flatten the covid curve by temporarily closing its doors to public bookings. Our fortnight training bookings have been suspended until September, and due to this enforced 6 month break we have decided to extend all memberships by 6 months to reflect this.
