10.01.2022 Annual General Meeting +eGift Cards for the first 40 attendees Unfortunately, due to the ongoing pandemic and lockdown in Melbourne, we could not hold many events, but Ta-da!! We are holding an Annual General Meeting on ZOOM to elect new committee members and will be giving out $10-worth-WoolWorth eGift Cards to the first 40 attendees so that you can enjoy some delish desserts for free You would also be able to find out more about Chocolate Lovers Society and ask... us about our societys finance and operation reports. Of course, you would be able to vote on any resolutions proposed as well! 04.01.2022 Hi chocolate lovers! This post is to mark the end of CLS 2019 :) It was an amazing year. We achieved the goal of creating a more active club through increasing the number of events as well as improving the quality of events for more members. We wanted to provide you with opportunities to experience fine desserts around the city throughout the year, and to meet new people and socialise over chocolatey dessert. We engaged 252 members overall, we held 13 events + 1 Feedback m...eeting, and we made new partners with various Melbournian dessert shops And we were also awarded "Gunthers Favourite Club" on the Clubs and Societies Awards Night! This was awarded because student union loves our society This is a post to thank the executives and committee for their work. Moreover, thank YOU for being respectful and as amazing as you are <3 Keep it up! P.S. The 2019 President, Julia Kim and 2020 Vice-President Minji Song are currently on - with a bunch of Unimelb students. It may seem like an irony because we are Chocolate Lovers Society - BUT, we also believe that it is important to promote healthy eating amongst the students. This is for a good cause - they are doing this with Starlight Australia to restore a smile on sick childrens face! Welcome back to sem 2 Since the pandemic and restrictions are still going on in Melbourne, we cannot go out to have those delicious desserts and chocolates BUT weve prepared a CHOCOLATE DESSERT MAKING COMPETITION to lighten the mood during this difficult time... HOW TO PARTICIPATE Please follow our instagram (unimelb_chocolate) and post a photo of your homemade chocolate desserts on story and tag us! OR you can DM the photo directly to us via Instagram DUE DATE By 11:59pm (AEST) 31st of August CRITERIA The photos that lighten up the mood during this pandemic the most (can be funny or aesthetic or encouraging etc etc) PRIZE $25-worth present each to 5 winners (we will DM the winners and discuss which present they can get bc it is tricky to choose presents ourselves because some of you guys are overseas)
