25.01.2022 1 Year Ago Today Grand Finals were contested and we won a few. This year our PRNA Season is still a few more days away from starting. COVID-19 has interrupted our lives in more ways than just netball but if we keep doing the right thing we can stay ahead of it. Its wonderful that we have the freedoms we do here in Queensland and wed all be sad to see it ruined. Stay safe and remember that even though it might feel/look like everything is back to normal, we are still saniti...sing, social distancing and more. Spectator numbers have hard limits, time between games is extended. We cant just hang around socialising with a BBQd Sausage. Having attended some games at BNA this season, it is easy to become complacent but it is important that we stay aware. Cant wait to see the courts full on Saturday and although we may not get a Grand Final this year we will still give it all on court. Heres a couple of Grand Final Winners (Grinners) from last year.

24.01.2022 As a result of our meeting with all Club Presidents and COVID Officers, and to reiterate PRNAs priority is to finish our competition and ensure the safety and wellbeing of our players, volunteers and officials. PRNA are constantly in contact with NQ and Sports and Recreation to ensure the most up to date processes are implemented. Following all the information from tonights meeting, a decision has been made to allow all persons that may have originally been excluded from PRNA back to the Association within the 14 days exclusion effective immediately. A reminder our Current COVID plan only allows 1 spectator per player and this will be enforced again this weekend

02.01.2022 Wow truly heart warming, lets make today truly amazing for Hendrix and Kate ACE Netball Club

02.01.2022 Hi Starz Family This year has been a year of firsts for us. First year weve had so many restrictions around health and safety. First year weve played so late in the year. 2020 is also the first time weve played netball at two associations. This year we took two teams to Brisbane Netball Association (BNA) and it was an adventure well worth embarking on. ... We needed a different approach to providing umpiring, parking and dealing with COVID but when it was game time, our Starz played like they always do. The Starz Spirit was on display every week. The folks at BNA were extremely welcoming and the feedback each week was wonderful. From general comments about seeing a new uniform on court to specific comments about how great our uniform looks, so bright. From general congratulations for someone taking a bold step to play across two associations to specifically congratulating our club and our teams for bravely coming to their association and showing such grace and strength. The management team at BNA made our lives a little easier each week and through a difficult year of restrictions and more, put together a safe season of very enjoyable netball. Both of our teams had struggles throughout the shortened season but both of our teams rose above and played good clean netball every week. We finished with a second and a third (for & against got us) but every one played like a champion. We can never do this without our volunteers and in this instance, our Managers, Jamie and Michelle also took on COVID Officer and Umpire Convenor tasks for us at BNA. Mamma Retta (Loretta) coached both teams for us and we are extremely grateful to these three ladies. Team Phoenix and Team Zodiacz - a massive CONGRATULATIONS from your Starz Committee and from all of your Starz Family. So thank you very much to the players, families and volunteers from Starz and thank you very much to BNA. The 2020 Spring Season is finished for you but 2021 is just around the corner. PS - 9 of these Starz are playing Representitive Netball for BNA in 2020 and will be playing against the best in Queensland later this month.
