13.01.2022 150 Prado in today for some diagnosis Having had an upgraded turbo , injectors and a tune done elsewhere with never ending issues with power , limp mode and poor driveability the customer opted for us to take a look at it after being fobbed off by his tuner . After taking it back many times for the limp mode issues , every time they received it back it had less and less power and was told it needed a new pump and still had limp mode issues . ... After running the vehicle up and noticing very poor torque yield and low power for the mods and a flatline AFR we decided to have a look at the tune . Only to discover that infact there was no tune file in the car at all , so the original tuner had just loaded the factory file back in and sent them on there way blaming the pump and continuously going into limp mode . So after many hours of tuning we came up with an awesome result , no limp mode and drastically improved driveability . Raising the boost a little and tipping some fuel into it to help it come alive while tapering the boost off in the top end to help prevent the VNT from overspeeding to keep it alive . All in all and great result that wasn’t really that hard to achieve .

08.01.2022 GQ in today for the follow up on his cooling system issues . After reading and following some of the water pump testing the customer decided it was time to fit one of Derks pumps . Now this is a crate motor from Nissan that has done very little Ks and as you can see it was lucky that he decided to go ahead and have the pump swapped out for one of Derks . ... The timing cover has already started to show signs of bad cavitation and if you look closely it has even started to wear away at the stud that is behind the pump . The previous pump had in excess of 8mm impeller clearance , with the new pump we now have less than 1mm . And of course its now fitted with the best water pump technology in the country . A new motor is a big investment why risk it with a less than ideal water pump .

07.01.2022 It has been bought to United Fuel Injections attention that there are two turbo resellers who are currently using the same unique product name as designed and implemented by UFI . The product in mention is the UFI 21L/21l . Now after some research over the past few days, we have learnt that not only is this attempt to copy and ride on United Fuel Injections product name, the product afore mentioned is in fact not a 21L/21l . The 21L/21l is a specific compressor size exclusi...ve to UFI and its product range . The sizing of the compressor they have attempted to replicate and claim as a 21L/21l is nothing more than a generic online sourced 18g wheel with 7 blades . Along with being incorrect, it also clearly shows the total lack of actual research and or technical ability of the businesses in question . Its nothing more than a mere attempt to rip customers off and coerce them into believing it is in fact the same product as the UFI 21L/21l . Please be aware when purchasing products with similar names as described above. Unfortunately this is the world we live in and people will tell all sorts of stories to sell products, and this is just a classic case of attempted plagiarism .
