24.01.2022 Dear members of SHUC we are preparing to have our reopening worship service on Sunday 6th December at 9:30am in a COVID safe manner. Due to the 4 square metre rule we can have congregations of 40 in church and 40 in the hall. Sadly there won’t be a cuppa after the service but after greeting folk outside in the open air people could go to cafes or homes in small numbers to catch up. Please watch this space for further details nearer the time and look at the Uniting Church report in Friday’s Guardian newspaper. Peace be with you. Tony

17.01.2022 Regional Victoria reduced restrictions will be confirmed tomorrow but we hope to be able to hold the Induction of new Ministers at Kerang 7:30pm Friday 4th and Sunday Worship in Swan Hill with them at 10am although there will be a limit of 50 worshippers! 15.01.2022 Communion served covid safe style today at Swan Hill Uniting Church. One year has passed since communion was shared last March. Wafers served with tongs, plastic disposable glasses for the wine.

13.01.2022 An 80th birthday drive by today for Jan. Happy birthday Jan and thank you Kerin for getting Jan to the footpath by fair means or foul.

13.01.2022 June 6 we are changing to winter time services. You can have an extra half hour in bed if so desired. This year June 6 also is our first service with our new ministry team, Mark and Carol. Big welcome to you both.

11.01.2022 Speakers from Swan Hill Health, Stacey and Marie gave a very informative talk at our meeting this month. We were made aware of just what is available for our health needs here. We are really not too badly off although there is always room for improvement in some areas we are pretty lucky. Our birthday girls Dianne and Lorraine.

09.01.2022 Not much activity to put on face book from Uniting Church. Stay safe out there everyone. No UCAF of course but we are still thinking of you all. This months birthday girls are........Linda King, Margaret Kerr, Nancy Downes,Norma Minney a very special 90 years, will be celebrated next year. Jan Donnan special birthday too 80 years and Gloria Wilson. Hope you had a happy day irrespective of the circumstances those who have been and a Happy enjoyable to those coming up. May God watch over you all and His Spirit drive this virus out of humanity. May health be restored to the sick and peace return to all Australians and all people on earth. Heavenly Father hear our prayers as we pray in different languages, colour and creed. Thank you God. Amen.

05.01.2022 Several cars did a drive past to help Norma celebrate her 90th birthday. Have a wonderful day and glad we all added a little excitement to the day. Thank you to your daughters for getting you out in the driveway.
