05.01.2022 Spots available to the Dating Indigenous Art in the Kimberley, presented by Project Leader Professor Andy Gleadow! Andy currently leads the major collaborative dating project aimed at establishing a robust time scale for the remarkable Indigenous rock art of the Kimberley Region of NW Australia. The project is taking a multi-disciplinary approach with a combination of dating technologies and, for the first time, large data sets to change our understanding of Australian Aborig...inal rock art and its relationship to an evolving landscape. We are delighted to have Prof Gleadow in the Club as he provides an enlightening presentation on the exquisite Kimberley Rock Art. There will also be time for a Q&A at the end of the lecture.
