06.01.2022 UPCCC recognises the importance of children’s sense of identity and how our actions can positively influence this. This week University Preschool and Child Care Centre courageously opened up the conversation by holding its first Tutu day. A day for children to feel safe and supported to express themselves freely. Conversations showed care and respect as children discussed their outfits of choice. The children explained:... A good friend is nice to you. You can wear what you like. It doesn’t matter. Boys can be nurses and girls can be mechanics. You just have to learn.
