13.01.2022 FITNESS CHALLENGE - 500 PULL-UPS . One of my clients challenged me to do 500 pull-ups in under 2 hours. The task had to be completed before 2021. Are you up for a challenge like this? This is what it took . Belief: I knew in the past I had the stamina, strength and will power to do this. I have done more pull-ups over the course of a day than I want to remember . ... . Planning: I knew I had to build up to this challenge. I would not be able to complete it if I just went for it first hand. I took 6 weeks to build up to it by not only doing pull-ups, but variations exercises to prepare my shoulders, biceps and core for this brutality. . Timing: I told myself I would make an attempt 5 days prior to the end of the year, leaving space for recovery incase I had to do it again. (Failure was never an option, just pre-caution ) . Execution: I started with the flat bar grip, the hardest grip for pull-ups and completed over 100 this way. Than I went to semi-pronated for another 200, then pronated bicep grip for the last 200. This allowed me to complete the task without depleting my shoulders and biceps at the start. . . . . . #tennis #tennislife #tennisdrills #tenniscoach #tennisfitness #tenniscoaching #tennispro #tennisplayer #tennisclub #fitnesscoach #tennisathlete #athlete #sportsman #pullups #pullupchallenge #fitnesschallenge #task #completetask #strong #willpower #newyearsresolution #lostthebet #challenge #mentalstrength #physicalstrength #strongback #strongmind #biceps #bicep #conditioning See more
