25.01.2022 Greenway Gerry Marg Taylor Rosemary Habner celebrated 2019 Melbourne Cup at The Club. What started in 2004 as an interclub event has grown to include with wider community. This has always been a fun-raising event rather than a fund-raising event...so well done all the volunteers who pulled off the best race event yet. A special thanks to our most colourful MC Mr Gerry Greenway

23.01.2022 Congratulations to Unley Park Lawn Tennis Clubs Robert Handley. Recipient today of a Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the community in a range of organisations. Board member of Cystic Fibrosis S.A. for 30 years, including President 7 years (1979 - 2019), Unley Park Sports club and Tennis club committees (2003 - 2017), Rotary club of Hyde Park (2006 - current) and Secondary Education (1979 - 2014). Robs contribution to Cystic Fibrosis in S.A. cant be unde...restimated, as he has supported many significant inititiatives such as the Partnership Agreement between the RAH, WCH and CFSA in 1998, the Hospital in the Home program lauched in 1999, advocating for funding increases to c.f. gained in 2012, and supporting educational outcomes for children with cystic fibrosis. His daughter, Genevieve Handley and so many other young people with cystic fibrosis have benefited from Robs support of this very worthy cause. See more

13.01.2022 The Rose Garden Pergola is becoming very popular especially happy hour after Saturday social tennis. We even have a wedding booked in the pergola. Recent hires of The Kidman Room have been delighting volunteers with their cakes... all yummy.

12.01.2022 Congratulations to UPSC High Tea fundraisers celebrating two major achievements. Firstly the pergola built with high tea proceeds has its first flowering of wisteria and secondly the long awaited air-conditioner was installed today in the kitchen. This was a joint project with the high tea group and City of Unley. Thanks to everyone and bring on summer.

08.01.2022 Remember to be COVIDSafe when consuming food and beverages at a sporting event or recreational facility There has been a small change to the consumption of alcohol at our club - it must now be consumed while seated and not at the bar. There's no room for complacency.
