25.01.2022 Some photos from the weekend (from @korphotographs on IG, yes IG you ancient folk). Despite the results, we got to play on an artificial pitch and there was good food available, so it wasn't all bad.. just mostly. The question does need to asked however, over 35s team when? (actually, maybe over 40s).

03.01.2022 Round 2 - Unley United vs CFC Good showing from the lads. Unley United 1-1 CFC... (K. Osman) Unley United had the lead for the majority of the game through a goal by Khaled Osman. CFC equalised and that’s where it stayed with the game ending in a draw. Unley United Reserves 5-1 CFC (W. Elliot, W. Elliot, W. Elliot, R. Gonzalez, J. Hammond) Reserves game recap as told by Will LFC Champions Elliot. Official Unley United recap would have provided a comparison for the second goal with a Karius fumble. Unley dominated the game and shows on the scoresheet. First goal was a corner from Macca headed in by Will "LFC Champions" Elliott, at the back post. Second goal was a free kick lofted in by Liam, Shane put pressure on the keeper who fumbled it De Gea esk in the path of the deadly Will (LFC Champions) Elliott, who expertly tapped it in from 6.8 yards out. Clinical. Third goal was another peach of a corner from Macca,The ball was whipped in with serious pace and was already heading towards the back of the net, but taking a leaf out Damon (goal stealer) Maslen's book, Will (LFC Champions) Elliott made sure it went in. Fourth goal was worked out wide from good link up play from the midfield and forwards, before Will (LFC Champions) Elliott whipped in a pin point cross to meet the head of Roger, who expertly put the ball away. They scored from a direct free kick that Amos was trying to play volleyball with. The fifth goal was good build up play from the midfield and forwards again. This time Macca putting through Jacky, who's shot went of the post, dribbled along the goal line towards the back post and Jared was there to tap the ball in.
