24.01.2022 What time is it? Bhangra time! Oo Oo Sahana is our resident Bhangra expert - a high energy, Indian street style of dance. She started being a part of Medshow from last year (it's never too late) and is back for another fun social dance block. 22.01.2022 Dear all, in light of the uncertainty surrounding MedShow 2020 due to the COVID-19 situation, Medshow executive have decided to hold an EGM so that we can roll over our scripts, theme and creative pieces that we have been preparing for months into 2021, IF we are unable to carry them out this year. This would also entail rolling over the current executive to the next year, given that we may not be able to form cast this year, and thus it would be difficult for any new casties... to run for a position. In the meantime, Medshow exec 2020 have been arranging for many fun and exciting activities to be held online so that we can spice up our lives in this period and potentially put something together for an in-person performance (very different from the usual show) when the situation improves (hint hint). It's not what MedShow normally does, but this is the safest option forward to to keep everyone safe :heart: Please attend our EGM on 22nd May 5.30 pm if you would like to have a voice regarding the aforementioned - including the rolling over of our theme and executive team in the event that show cannot be held this year. 21.01.2022 Social Dance block on Tuesday Hello! My name is Daniel, nice to meet you all! My first dance experience (ever) was with Medshow in 2018. Even though I was terrible, I found both dance and the Medshow fam to be an incredible addition to my life (enough to come back the year after!) I’ll be using this dance block as a chance to take what I’ve learnt so far and put it into choreo, so I’ll be teaching a more fast-paced hip hop (ish?) routine. 08.01.2022 Dear all, In light of COVID and latest updates by MedFac, our exec has decided to cancel MedShow 2020. However, our online activities will still be ongoing and open to everyone to join. We are working towards collaborating with MedSoc for Talent Quest that will be held either end of this year/beginning of next year. Items rehearsed in online events can possibly be performed in the Talent Quest. ... Our EGM held on the 22nd May passed the constitution amendment to roll over 2020 exec team and theme to 2021. Members of 2020 exec team that wish to leave will be allowed to do so and their position will be opened up in the AGM held in October. Regards Proddies

Social dance block will be on TONIGHT.......and continuing every TUES & THURS until WEEK 5 (28/05)! ... Following last week's successful hip hop and contemporary blocks, we have recruited more lovely teachers to teach you some choreography for you to follow along at home . TONIGHT, Hebe is coming back again for her third Medshow’s dance block! She is contemp and ballet trained, but this Tuesday, she’ll be teaching a short (easy and fun ) sexy Jazz choreo to Break My Heart by Dua Lipa. Don’t miss out!
