24.01.2022 It is so important to acknowledge the Community Volunteers on the Occasion of celebrating National Volunteer Week. They spend their own time without any expectations. There are a lot of Volunteers in the Territory.. They are so powerful and instrumental in delivering services to the community and inspiring to so many other community members. 22.01.2022 Celebrity refugee advocate Craig Foster AM (retired soccer player and sports analyst) from Australian Multicultural Council along with Dr Graham Thom from Amnesty International Australia visited MCNT and met with refugee advocates to discuss about the fight for the release of the Darwin 9.

16.01.2022 Thanks to NT Legal Aid for delivering sessions on 'Tenancy' and 'Rights with Police' for international students. Everyone has learnt new things. Our sincere thanks are also due to Darwin Table Tennis for providing info on table tennis in Darwin.

16.01.2022 Order of Australia Association NT branch delivered an information session to promote nomination of multicultural people for the honours. Federal Shadow Minister for Multicultural Affairs Andrew Giles MP had a community consultation with multicultural communities in the NT. Community leaders enthusiastically participated in both the sessions.

15.01.2022 We mourn the passing of Dr John Ah Kit, a tireless advocate for indigenous rights. His life witnessed positive transition from the discrimination policies of Australia, including voting rights for first Australians and abolition of White Australia Policy. Our condolences to the family, friends and all first Australians. Vale Jack Ah Kit!

03.01.2022 The Multicultural Minister Hon Nicole Manison : Member for Wanguri launched NT Government's Multicultural Policy at MCNT on Friday 12 th June. During her speech, she emphasised the Northern Territory Government's priority to promote multiculturalism and welcome more migrants to the Territory.

02.01.2022 MCNT condemns the incidents of racial hatred against Asian-Australians witnessed in Australia following COVID-19 outbreak. We are one of the 30 community organisations jointly voicing for bipartisan commitment to establish a National Anti-Racism Strategy.
