Secretary Treasurer FACULTY BASED EXECUTIVE ROLES Science, Medicine and Health Representative Business & Law Representative Engineering and Information Sciences Representative Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities Representative Date: 23rd September Time: 1:30pm Place: Online @ https://uow.webex.com/uow/j.php Founded in 2020, UOW Wish Society is a university club which supports Make-A-Wish Australia. Our purpose is to fundraise and spread awareness for Make-A-Wish Australia, and provide a helping hand to our local Wollongong branch at events. During the coronavirus pandemic, we have been setting up online study sessions for students at the University of Wollongong. We hope to continue our relationship with UOW students while we navigate online learning, and give students the opportunity to network while learning in a casual setting. Our AGM is approaching and we have lots of opportunities for UOW students to get involved on our executive team. We are looking for passionate people who support the vision, mission, and values of Make-A-Wish Australia, and who are dedicated to helping us become an awesome university club. We have a variety of roles to fill over the next couple of weeks. The roles of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer will be determined based on vote at the AGM. For these roles, please express your interest through email to [email protected]. Additionally, we have added new faculty-based roles for 2021. Our vision is that these new faculty-based roles will help spread awareness of our club, our clubs activities and most importantly, Make-A-Wish Australia. These roles require application, and successful applicants will be announced at the AGM. 10.01.2022 Hey everyone, UOW Wish Society will be facilitating online study sessions for semester two. We are looking for volunteers to run weekly study sessions for their subject. This is a great way to interact with other students throughout the semester, and locks you in for some guaranteed study time each week. Study session will be held at a time of your choosing, and an ongoing webex link will be made for that session.... You will need to post on your moodle page letting your peers know about the session. You can facilitate the study session on your own or with a few friends. Comment or message us on Facebook if you are interested in setting up a study group for your subject!!
