21.01.2022 After loads of rain, we now have a very large Murray River at Pebble Beach Walwa.

20.01.2022 Not all heros wear capes. But anyone who wears the uniform of a fire fighter or spends time on the front line next to flames is a hero in our book. These guys worked through their holiday period saving other peoples homes and properties instead of with loved ones. Again a big shout out goes to anyone who helped save our property and kept us safe.

First of all, we are happy to advise that thanks to the amazing hardworking firies in our area - Our Home, the main function center, cottages and things like tanks and pools have been untouched by the fire. Our crews are out there repairing as much as they can but with thousands of kilometres of roads i...mpacted over the fire season across north east Victoria - theres still a lot of work to do. Were continuing to replace all the road infrastructure to make the roads safer - including signs, guideposts and culverts, were grading road surfaces that were damaged and removing hazardous trees. With the gradual easing of restrictions, we know many of you may be out and about travelling on roads through forests and parks we just ask that you; Slow down and drive to the conditions Be well prepared with maps and devices as many road signs are burnt Are conscious that crews may be just around the corner working on the roads Be aware that things may look different Obey all signs and road closures Know that the recent rain has made freshly graded roads slippery so take it easy Please plan your trip ahead - for the protection of a number of roads during wetter conditions over Winter and Spring, selected roads through forests and parks will be closed from this weekend until Melbourne Cup weekend in November. 15.01.2022 WE had the privilege of having over 65 police officers staying with us in the weeks after the fires and we had re-opened for Buisness. They were absolutely fabulous. I think some are still in shock at the amount of Kangaroos, wombats, deer etc that they encountered on the roads. Quiet a change from their city lives and duties.
