Political scientist Dr Sarah Cameron presents her findings from the latest results of the Australian Election Study. Dr Cameron will provide insight into what shaped the 2019 federal election result, including the role of policy issues, leadership, growing voter pola...risation and the rise of minor parties. She will also provide some insights into data on democratic politics in the era of COVID-19. Joining Dr Cameron will be Hon John Mickel, former Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and former Member for Logan, and Graham Young, executive director of the Australian Institute of Progress and a former campaign chairman of the Queensland Liberal Party, to take a look at the 2020 state election results.
