07.01.2022 Hello Everyone! We received the following message from a member of our senior club today . Through their contacts in NZ, there is an opportunity to take up a playing position with a school who are on the lookout for two outstanding young locks to attend and play for a school 1st XV in Hamilton, New Zealand in 2021. The school would cover fees and board for two big strapping locks, they would go into an Academy and be eligible for Chiefs U18 and Waikato age group sides. ...The Director of Rugby is a NZ secondary schools selector and Chiefs resource coach. If you know of anyone that would fit the criteria ( would be locks about the 16/17 age) and wants to discuss further, please feel free to email me at [email protected] . Doesn't have to come from our ranks, if you know someone from the rugby scene in Brissy or elsewhere, let them know. Good chance to teach some young strapping locks how to play and then come back and apply their rugby lessons to beat the All Blacks (it'll one day- till then we can dream) !!!
