17.01.2022 !UQPSA COVID-19 STATEMENT! Hello all, Due to recommendations and advice from UQ Union, Department of Health, and the Queensland Government regarding COVID-19. We have unfortunately cancelled all upcoming and future events of UQPSA until further notice. We hope to resume as soon possible, when it is safe to, as everyones health and wellbeing is our utmost priority. ... We understand that this is a stressful time for all, especially our psychology community at the present time. We want to advise for everyone to take steps to reach out if you need to, to a friend, family, or support services both here at UQ and in the greater community. As well as take steps for self-care during this time and maintain a sense of calm and normality. 13.01.2022 Quick update: On 20 Nov, the student representatives presented the Student Feedback survey to the Teaching and Learning (T&L) Committee, where we discussed each of the points in the survey (flipped classrooms, electives, employment, and facilities). These points were then shared with the full School of Psychology academic committee, which consists of most academics. The T&L committee are already in the process of addressing some of the points, and said they will take our pers...pective on board for future decisions regarding these matters.
