25.01.2022 Exploring the site of a new Community Design project today. Look at that view So many hidden wild places in our city

22.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone!

20.01.2022 Loving all this rain today, our lawn is currently full of pots we have moved out from under cover so they can enjoy it too!

15.01.2022 Such an important asset in our city :-)

14.01.2022 One of the things I love most about Christmas is not surprisingly the tree! I love the fact that at this time of the year trees are at the centre of our homes and that we treat them with such care and attention. Of course the ritual of the decorated tree goes back to pagan traditions that honoured and celebrated our connection to nature. Wish we did this all year round!

14.01.2022 Washed, dried and ready to plant out next spring

07.01.2022 It's the final celebration this evening of the Verge Transformation project that I spent 6 months last year coordinating. Great to look back on all this wonderful community activity and the enthusiasm to create greener, sustainable, productive and social verges for us all to enjoy! :-) Just a bit proud :-)

06.01.2022 My own little bit of precious Urban Bushland

06.01.2022 The final outcome of the Verge Transformation project that I co-ordinated last year is this film made by the wonderful Linda Blagg. The film will be used to inspire others to get involved in community activity especially where people and nature come together :-) ps I think I need a new hat! :-)

06.01.2022 Sad to see this fabulous project coming to an end, it was a joy to work with the staff and students at Cyril Jackson Senior Campus and Cyril Jackson Education Support Centre :-)

05.01.2022 Walking home from a design presentation this morning and I couldn't resist picking these up - treasure

03.01.2022 Having a lazy day with the kids for the first day of the school holidays and enjoying our first fig from the garden

02.01.2022 Desk tidied, kids back to school, emails sorted through! Finally getting stuck into 2017, looking forward to a wonderful year of working with individuals, communities and schools to create gardens and build connections with nature This was the plant highlight of my holiday break, carpets of Blue Lace Flowers along the Forrest highway a couple of weeks ago. These amazing wildflowers only appear in numbers like this after bushfire and this incredible display is the silver lining of the terrible Yarloop/Waroona fires of about a year ago. Nature is amazing.

01.01.2022 Summer gardening for me includes lots of playing with indoor plants This one is heading for the ceiling!
