We have being reinforcing that manners cost nothing and make for a happy environment. Well done boys and girls. This week Mr Sifko finished the week with his much anticipated Principal’s Pancake Breakfast! The students were also lucky enough to have another swimming lesson, most refreshing in this heat. 25.01.2022 Welcome back to all our gorgeous kiddos for day 1, 2021. A very special welcome to Hunter, our new Kindergarten student. After enjoying a lovely Pancake Breakfast we hit the ground running with lots of activities during the day! We all had a wonderful day discussing our holidays and our goals for 2021. We even managed to wrangle a few more pesky meerkats that seem to have made their way into school during the summer break. They are now safe and sound with their friends in the classroom.

24.01.2022 WOW What a week we have had at school! Congratulations to every student on their behaviour and enthusiasm at Carols on the Corner on Wednesday Night. Mr Sifko has been so proud of all the positive comments from community members about your stellar performance. Lestat, you were an amazing compère as well as singing and Kailyn what a fabulous job you did in your xylophone solo of Jingle Bells. Gabby your solo of ‘ A Million Dreams’ was spine tingling and Jethro your enthusia...stic singing was notable. Bianca you were just superb, especially in your solo section of ‘ All I want for Christmas is You’ and in helping the smaller students. Ethan what a great job you did with your Mr Sifko Santa running through the crowd! It was hard not to smile with your infectious grin the whole way though each song Makaylah and Amelia you brought tears to our eyes in your solo in ‘ See you again’! Today we finished off the week with Christmas themed Principal Pancake Friday. We have so many FUN activities planned for next week and extra special rewards for your outstanding efforts all year! Don’t forget Presentation Day and UPS The Voice Competition on Tuesday, we can’t wait to hear your amazing voices again!

22.01.2022 What a fantastic day we had at the combined Woodenbong CS and Urbenville PS Swimming Carnival today. Firstly, the staff and students of Urbenville PS would like to thank all the teachers, helpers and students from Woodenbong for making us feel so welcome and inviting us to participate in their carnival! It was so lovely to see the good sportsmanship displayed by both schools and we were especially grateful to those gorgeous Woodenbong students who made up our numbers in the... relay team without a second thought, what fabulous school spirit you showed! All Urbenville PS students did an amazing job, and have all qualified for the district carnival! We are super proud of your efforts both in and out of the pool. Your manners, team spirit, cheering for your classmates and general positive attitude during the whole day made the teachers beam with pride! Have a great weekend kiddos.
