Generally it will be recognised if the marriage has been registered in the country of marriage and is recognised under the law of that country and that both parties are at least 18 years old and neither party is married to anyone else at the time of their marriage.... It is important to bring back with you all official documents that you receive at the time of marriage as evidence.

18.01.2022 Well, with Covid 19 current restrictions tightened, marriages can still go ahead if you are planning to do so. It means that we have to be extra cautious ourselves and towards others. Now a ceremony at a religious venue can have up to 20 people, in addition to the celebrant and the couple getting married. If a wedding is held at a private residence, it will be limited to the members of the household, five attendees, plus the celebrant. These are strict rules and must be adhe...red to as not only are we stopping the spread of the virus, we are also acknowledging care of our loved ones. So lets celebrate and continue with our lives. 15.01.2022 Every wedding is very special and unique. My ceremonies reflect my couple, the circumstances and the vibes that I receive of the special bond between them. Yesterday I conducted a private wedding ceremony that was special in every way. The warmth in the room of a handful of guests, the special commitment of the couple and the love between them was electric and at times very emotional. A quiet and cosy dinner afterwards at The Royal Hotel, Mornington rounded it off beautiful...ly. 11.01.2022 Following the lifting of some restrictions of Covid-19 it has been granted by the Victorian State Government that up to 10 guests can attend weddings, in addition to the couple and the celebrant. Having said that, there is still restrictions on shaking hands, hugging or kissing as a greeting to ensure that we are maintaining the required 1.5 meter distance at all times. It is a most glorious time of the year with colourful autumn leaves swaying in the wind. 02.01.2022 Autumn is approaching, yes it is that time that of the year when we see the leaves on many trees going through a beautiful transformation. So too many of you are looking for a great season; a great time to change the course of your life's journey. Weddings are still going ahead, please remember we do have to take care of all persons so that we do not pass on or become afflicted by this illness that has captured the whole world. Remember, if you have booked a date for your m...arriage, it can still go ahead on the due date BUT ON A VERY SMALL SCALE. ONLY 5 people can be present during a ceremony ie the couple getting married, the witnesses and the celebrant. The reception and party can be held on a large scale at a later date if you so wish. My first wedding at the start of the restriction was on Thursday. It was okay. Everyone was respectful and kept the "social distance" and all documents were handled appropriately. It felt a bit weird but the whole essence of the wedding and the ceremony itself made the scenario very pleasant. Video was taken by one of the witnesses to share with those who were not at the ceremony, in fact, they all enjoyed a beautiful ceremony and were able to congratulate the couple as well. So there!!!!
