USQ was awarded the Athena SWAN Institutional Bronze Award by Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE). By collecting and analysing data, USQ identified barriers to women (including First Nations women, transgender and gender diverse individuals) participating in STEMM careers to inform a four-year action plan for the University.
