23.01.2022 Introducing our panelists! Get ready to hear from Debbie Hatumale-Uy this Thursday night at our Industry Panel & Networking event! Debbie Hatumale-Uy is a digital marketer, content creator, writer, mother and all round nice girl. She currently leads social media for a government department as the Senior Social Media Manager at Transport for NSW. She has 15 years experience across the creative industries, technology, government, education and FMCG sectors working both clien...t and agency side, including as the Social Media Manager for McDonald's Australia and Social Strategist for McCann Worldwide group. She sees herself as a change maker, aiming to transform social media understanding, uptake and usage across entire organizations. Her career started at Macquarie Uni, completing an Arts (Sociology) degree and moving into Master of Commerce in Marketing. In her off time she likes being creative - as a teacher in dance and making handmade personal gifts for her online store.

14.01.2022 Introducing our panelists! Get ready to hear from Hayden Wright this Thursday night at our Industry Panel & Networking event! Hayden Wright is Head of Social at creative agency Coffee Cocoa Gunpowder, delivering strategy and content to commercial clients and not-for-profits. Since arriving in Sydney in 2012, Hayden has worked client-side and agency-side in a range of categories, including entertainment, consumer goods, finance and travel. The content he has created has see...n him live-tweet from the floor of Melbourne's OzComic-Con and participate in basic training with the Australian Army in Kapooka. Hayden was also a committee member and co-chair of Youngbloods NSW, a committee dedicated to empowering young people to succeed in the world of advertising. A seasoned improviser and sketch comedian, he's performed multiple times at the Sydney Comedy Festival and teaches at Improv Theatre Sydney.

08.01.2022 Introducing our panelists! Get ready to hear from Emelie Watkins this Thursday night at our Industry Panel & Networking event! Emelie recently graduated as a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communcations) student, majoring in Marketing and English. In her fourth year, she chose audio design and podcasting as her cluster major. For this unit, she created a podcast about Indigenous children’s hearing health which was selected for The Junction; a nation wide university publicatio...n of journalism. As a student, she worked as a presenting/public speaking teacher in high schools for a company called Elevate, as well as a marketing & communications job at a HR firm called Parents at Work. Since graduating last year, Emelie says that she been lucky enough to hold two jobs with an audio/ radio focus. One is at Nine Radio (2GB) and one at Amplify, a media/ production agency which combine her broad media passions. Both are completely different; her role at Nine Radio is very journalistic and traditional in its form. Amplify is very youthful and it’s content is targeted to kids and young people. At one job, she is dealing with politicians and high profile journalists, and at the other she is dealing with Australia’s biggest youtubers and tiktokers!

Alessandro Zotti, is a 26 year old Video producer and freelance creative. He has had the opportunity to freelance on projects for Nike, Microsoft, Mecca, Sephora, Bonds, Mercedes Benz, Fashion Week and many more. Previously at Pedestrian TV, now with BuzzFeed Oz as a full-time video producer working across editorial videos, from editing, shooting, producing and featuring in them.
