17.01.2022 Are you looking for a great way to gain research and project work experience while filling 6 CPs of elective? There is an exciting opportunity to undertake an AMME Space Engineering Project (AEROX711 - 6CP Engineering Elective) related to CROSS (Calculated Reference of Stellar System), a new-generation star tracker. In the last 3 years, the CROSS project has been working to develop a star tracker for use in small-satellites within the School of AMME, in collaboration with C...UAVA. To find out more about the project, visit www.CrossStarTracker.com. In preparing for an in-orbit demonstration in 2021, work must be completed towards the mounting and mechanical design of the system. There will be scope for self-directed work and exploration, though the broad outcomes would include an iterated system mounting design based on literature review and FEA studies. You can express your interest or find out more at https://forms.gle/yaNRKgsKXEcGaCTW7, but dont hesitate as there is only one spot available.

02.01.2022 Hey everyone! Were a part of the USYD Societies Blood Drive because the essential service of blood donation has declined due to COVID-19, while the need for blood has not. 1 in 3 people will need blood during their life, but only 1 in 30 donate, and a single donation can save up to 3 lives! We'd love to help bring a bit of positivity to the pandemic-recovering world
