13.01.2022 Dementia affects more than 400,000 people in Australia. Like Uukoo us, we are also inspired by the powerful effects of music in nursing homes, Lorna Prendergast undertook a Master of Ageing degree at the University of Melbourne. She graduated in July at the age of 90! Well done Lorna!

02.01.2022 Two years ago we would not have dared to dream this. Uukoo has been selected as a finalist in Decoding Dementia. This is a collaboration between Deloitte and Dementia Australia who are looking to fund and help commercialize "new and innovative ways to break down the barriers for people living with dementia so they can remain socially-included, accepted, independent, able to access high-quality health care, and connected with the people and places they want"...
