05.01.2022 Meet our Treasurer, Tara Suann! We asked Tara why gender equality is important to her, and heres what she had to say: Gender equality is important to me as I know I have been very privileged in my life regarding my education, female role models and my strong support network. I know this has benefitted me hugely and not everyone has had the same opportunity. I am motivated to encourage greater gender equity and provide the opportunities I have had to as many women as possible. In doing so I believe it will benefit the whole of society; improving workplace relations and creating better families and communities. Through WIB I aim to boost the education and career experiences UWA provides and help women wherever possible. Thats why I am so passionate about this club!
