21.01.2022 Well we hear a rumour ...... can't spill to many beans but we do know this ...... An awesome fundraiser is.planned for Nov 30th. 2 options ...... formal luncheon and simultaneously a free family fun day, all in the same location. 2 differnt budgets for differnt wants.... The Fab u lash Divas will be belting out some well known tunes. Competitions, speeches entertainment and games. All sounds a bit like a down south event. Its not, it is right here in Darwin ..... hold your horses, more info being leaked daily, but for now, we recommend keeping 30th November free ....... will let you know, as soon as we know ..... oh how exciting x x we all love fun x.

20.01.2022 Hello, We would love for you to join us on a journey. No idea where it is going, but will be fun none the less. Rainbow connections is an interactive social group here in Darwin. We encourage LGBTI and friends to share any event, that they believe would be exciting and we welcome diversity of interests. ... We are not promoting night events, but day/early evening events, that allow for a gathering of like minded people, who only want to try something different, and enjoy the company of new friends and networks. Our events will be bi monthly starting in September with a teddy bears picnic with a twist, but more on that in a day or two, so like our page and get connected with LGBTI and friends focused events, before the nightlife begins . This is an attempt to do something for the community of Darwin, offer fresh and unique ideas and opportunities, your involvement is paramount for success, and the redevelopment, of the Gay scene in Darwin. Many stunning pictures of the NT on the page at the moment, each one would be wonderful to see a group of friends, loving the beauty of the Northern Territory, we will replace as we go x x

So we are looking for the following on the 28th of September for a very special 'free' and family friendly launch party of this amazing group ..... So if you can offer any of the below, please let us know through PM and we will gladly take you up on this kind offer Market style marquees Tables and chairs plastic and fold-able/stack-able... BBQ with gas bottles Eskis Kids stuff ........ old school back yard fun stuff Musicians and entertainers Decorations, any sort, we will find homes for it Photographers Microphone and speakers Your donations of stuff and service, are greatly appreciated, and will be well looked after, and returned on the same day. We require these items between 10 am and 3pm THANK YOU FOR BEING AWESOME

An awesome program offering at risk LGBTQ/ indigenous and homeless youth in Darwin, valuable skills to enhance their employment opportunities. Through experiential learning ( outdoor activities) and task centred training, we engage at the lowest level, and grow together.... Hospitality is a solid, exciting.and transferable skills based career,. Aunties home trainers have over 30 years front of house experience, serving all levels of service experiences and styles of dining. Also holding an education in Applied social science, adventure therapy, and 15 years hospitality management and training. Having come from a homeless situation, Rainbow Connection grows from personal experience. We have walked your walk. with an amazing network within hospitality Darwin, we will work with you to enhance your job opportunities. once you're employed, we stay with you, training in the venues specific skill base. Ensuring you are comfortable in your environment, so you can thrive forward. You have nothing to lose, should you qualify all training is free and you are family for life. 01.01.2022 Sometimes you just can't be bothered, and why should you! Pop into Aunties in the morning and organise your Roast Dinner for 1 to 6 people beef, chicken or pork , veges and gravy @15pp... Then call in after work to grab n go on your way home, pickups available from 2pm have a healthy dinner on the table 5 minutes after you get home . Throw in an apple crumble or chocolate brownie for $5 per serve
