22.01.2022 WOW - can you believe it is nearly THAT time again?? On that note, we are excited to announce that our December/January Vacation Care program will be out next week (Monday 16th November). Some Important Info:... Bookings through My Family Lounge will open on Wednesday 18th November at 6:00pm. OSHC will be open as a Vacation Care day on the two student free days in December, 10th & 11th. Week 1 Vacation Care: 14th 18th December. OSHC will be closed from the 21st December 1st January. Week 2 Vacation Care will commence on the 4th January through till the 22nd January. Bookings, Deposit & Fees: Bookings for vacation care require an $80.00 deposit per family and your account to be brought up to date. Deposit must be paid within 3 days of making your online booking, we ask that you refrain from making any bookings until you are prepared to pay your account plus the deposit. Failure to make payment within 3 days of booking will result in your bookings being removed. Cancellations You can cancel the attendance of the registered child at Vacation Care online via the My Family Lounge portal, up until the last day of school term. All bookings are considered final as at 6:00pm on the last day of school term (9th December 2020). Cancellations made after 6:00pm on the last day of term will be charged in full, inclusive of extras, minus any CCS. Incursions & Additional costs If your child is booked to attend a day where an incursion or additional cost is required, this is a compulsory charge and will be added to your weekly statement. 20.01.2022 Winner winner chicken dinner!! Our M&M guessing competition was drawn today......the winner was....Austin!!! Austin's guess was the closest to the 1092 M&M's that were in the jar. Yum, yum....well done

19.01.2022 Thursday was........ PARTY DAY.....for all the kids that are missing out on birthday parties, we had one all day long! Balloon races, pass the parcel, limbo, dance competitions and other fun games. Prizes and party bags all round.... We hope everyone had a FUN day.

17.01.2022 Some more great pics from our holiday care fun yesterday. Crazy hair day was a blast, we also were very creative making our own puzzles - they look fantastic!! Back by popular demand, we had a great time making and playing with paper planes again.

17.01.2022 !! Vacation Care Important Information !! Vacation Care is just around the corner and at this stage we are still open and operating as normal. Due to the restrictions on accessing supplies such as food, craft and cooking supplies our vacation care program is subject to change. We are also taking extra precautions in addition to our regular hygiene practices this may also affect our holiday program. These are the changes we have anticipated... As we cannot guarantee our cooki...ng supplies to be available we will not be running any programmed cooking activities, we have also decided to cancel group cooking activities as we feel it is best practice to ensure the health of all children and staff at the service. In place of these activities we will be providing an alternative which may include using pre-packaged items. Create your own Puzzle! Will replace our programmed art activity for Thursday 16th (Make your own Play-Doh). There may also be some adjustments to our afternoon tea menu as we order our food on a weekly basis and may not be able to get a hold of particular items due to purchasing restrictions. Physical Activities we are promoting and encouraging distancing between everyone at oshc, as a result we will be adjusting our programmed physical activities to activities that do not require any sort of physical contact. Incursions Sadly, due to the outbreak of Covid-19 and the health concerns surrounding external facilitators interacting with children we have deemed the incursions to pose too high of a risk for students and staff. As a result both Old MacDonalds Animal Farm (Wednesday15 April) and the Inflatable Obstacle Course (Friday 17thApril) incursions have been cancelled. (Any charges associated with these incursions will be removed). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however we need to make these changes due to the ever changing situation we find ourselves in at the moment.

09.01.2022 Bonnie is our dedicated 2020 Robina OSHC Education Leader who leads an active lifestyle and loves her sports. When not working as part of our OSHC team, you’ll find her paddle boarding Gold Coast waterways or cheering on her favourite AFL team at home. She has been a part of our school community for the past 9 years and with OSHC for more than 12 months. With 4 years Childcare experience, Bonnie has a Bachelor degree in Education (primary), First Aid Certification and specialist training in COVID-19.

08.01.2022 Please say hello to Emma, our valuable Robina OSHC Assistant Co-ordinator for 2020 who has been a part of the OSHC team for 6 years now. She is an animal-lover, devoted to her pet galah and dog Winnie, and outdoor enthusiast fond of camping, swimming and going to the beach on her days off. Emma holds a Diploma of Criminology and is currently studying for her Bachelor degree. She is also certified in First Aid and specialised COVID-19 training. ... Emma truly enjoys creating learning programs with students and watching them grow in all the years she has been a part of the Robina State School community.
