There will be... helicopters flying at night and early in the morning, at a low altitude. Please ensure you let your family, friends and any neighbours know that this training will be occurring. This training is part of #AusArmy's regular training schedule and is designed to ensure #OurPeople are operating at the highest level of capability to respond where required, to support Australia's national interests. We acknowledge that these activities may result in disturbances to local residents. This disruption will be minimised wherever possible. You should not be alarmed if you see low-flying helicopters or hear the associated noise. We appreciate the support of the local community during this important training period. 15.01.2022 Valentine Hydrotherapy Pool needs your help. Without financial support from Lake Macquarie Council this pool will CLOSE. The pool is currently not allowed to ...reopen. Valentine Hydrotherapy Pool and Valentine Swim School are still heavily relying on community support to keep this pool open. Council are voting on the 13th July to decide whether the facility will close or not. So what can we do? Sign this petition: https://www.gopetition.com//save-valentine-swim-school.html Email your local councillor or Mayor Fraser at this address: [email protected] The pool and swim school are awaiting final reports so that they know exactly what repairs need to be made. The swim school will be doing everything they can to help committee raise the funds for repairs as well as reaching out for community support, for volunteer work and funding from grants. If anyone knows any big companies wishing to donate to the charity, please get them to contact us asap. It’s now or never. If you don’t help fight for the pool we will lose it. Think of the kids, the elderly, the disabled and our local community and help fight to ‘Save Valentine Hydrotherapy Pool’.
