Top priced Bull was Lot 1 who sold to Roger and Jenny Underwood of Eversleigh & Wallace Vale Droughtmasters for $23,000 after locking homozygous polls with the Todd Cormack of Black Gully Droughtmaster Stud, who then went on to buy lots 3 and 4 for an average of $8000. Sale finished with 100% clearance in the ring with an average of $6625. Thanks to the team at Muan for preparing the bulls in the style that Valera Vale bulls are known for.... Thank you to the Nutrien and Elders agents available on the day, and Elite Livestock Auctions for their online presence. Firstly, the Laycock family are valued repeat clients and deserve to be recognised as such - having purchased numerous bulls from us over the years including the top priced bull from our 2018 on property sale. 10.01.2022 What do these two have in common? More than you would think: Lot 37 and 81 are actually TWINS. Both DNA sire verified by Valera Vale 16192M and out of 16732F. 16732F has had 3 calves in 2 years - not a bad effort having twins that both make the catalogue! Lot 37 (First photo) is HPc, while Lot 81 is PcPc. Lot 37 also gets points for toughness - he survived a wild dog attack as a calf and has the scar to prove it!

08.01.2022 Another exciting pregnancy this year is Wannalook Sweet Heart. She out of Anna Hudson’s legendary open mare Wannalook Sweet Talk and by Kirkby Stud Rebound. Unfortunately Sweet Heart lost her eye after a couple of starts which ended her competition career before it had began. Sweet Heart produced a firecracker of a filly to Seligman Spin last year and is now in foal to Hazelwood Conman.

These bulls are being presented at the 14th annual Bos Indicus Breed Invitation Sale on Friday the 21st of August 2020.
