Physical and verbal abuse, sexual harassment and even stalking are pitfalls of being an after-hours GP, according to troubling new research that has sparked calls for doctors to better protect themselves. The researchers from Griffith University suggest chaperones and post-graduate training as potential solutions.... They found that most after-hours GPs are concerned about encountering hostile people during house calls. And they have good reason. Almost half of the 300 doctors interviewed for the study have experienced some form of aggression.

After a weekend of working with OUR IT guys - who finally figured out TELSTRA SENT US A DUD ( AS IN NOT WORKING) BRAND NEW MODEM!!!! After many phone calls - they sent us a Tech guy with a new modem - We now have phones and internet

17.01.2022 On Friday 8th June 2018 - we closed the clinic for NBN installation. It is now Monday 11th June 2018 1900hrs and the clinic still has no access to internet or Phones. This was sent to Telstra: This appointment had been scheduled for a time when the surgery was closed in order to minimise the effect on patients and staff. As you will be aware interruptions to medical communications can have dire consequences, in some case it can be a matter of life and death.... We need the resolution of this situation to be expedited as a matter of urgency and expect it will be attended to tomorrow morning Tuesday 12 June. IF YOU RING IN THE MORNING AND THERE IS NO ANSWER - WE ARE O P E N Telstra dropped us into the dark ages with no way of communication.

13.01.2022 Road works Kuta Ave. Detour signs are in place. For Thursday 8th Feb - there will also be a lollipop man who will only allow traffic to the clinic and no one other than patients will be allowed to drive up.

06.01.2022 Well.. I was hoping for a better 2018 with telecommunications - it appears not. Cos we now also do not have fax, nor emails...... So please back to the old fashioned method of ringing until we sort out the issues
