25.01.2022 Sometimes I do this, alone, music loud, creating. Its my escape from the everyday chaos. Some may call it flower meditation!! Well this is my flower meditation loud music and all. The artwork is not mine just the flowers, the artwork is by the very talented @leighviner love her work. She nails the eye details every time.

21.01.2022 Hi all, hope you all woke up rested and ready to tackle Tuesday morning. This is the other piece, a wall hanging. Check out my previous post if you dont know what Im talking about. Made from dried Lotus leaves, pampas, dried bay leaves and hydrangeas. Made for the Master Bedroom, matching perfectly with the bedding. Warning, if ever attempting to use pampas, please use outside, the slightest movement and although pretty the pesky seeds release themselves and there is shit everywhere. I spent 2 hours picking them out of the carpet and seats of my car, kinda like glitter when you think youve got it all, you still see it weeks later I like this piece, its different and was worth the 2 hour cleanup.

18.01.2022 Hope you Dads had a great Fathers Day, and Im guessing you got jocks, Bunnings vouchers, BCF Vouchers and Super Cheap Vouchers ... you get it. With the help from my daughter we made my dad and my hubby a masculine dried/preserved installation with so many textural elements, it was cool. Even added a love heart up one end of the install. Can you see it? Dad thought it was fancy especially with the candles on the table, but between you and me I reckon he loved it. oh yeah and I made a kick ass delicious apple slab for dessert too so even tho I spent hours slaving away in the kitchen, it was totally worth it, and it couldnt have tasted all that bad, there was only 1 bit of chicken left.

17.01.2022 Happy 3:42am Awake early today cause my lovely 4 y/o turdburger decides to get out of bed come into our room, climbs over the top of me to get into our bed and then I cant get back to sleep May as well share my latest creation with you all. The ingredients for this baby, consists of dyed & preserved hydrangea, dried bougainvillea, dyed & preserved ruscus (pink) and dyed wildflowers, matches perfectly with one of my fav prints by @leighviner Creating pieces for a hom...e open, they need to last and which can be used over and over again. If your wanting to create your own, dont be afraid to use whats around you, in your backyard, test to see what holds up well after being dried and dont forget to add textures. Texture changes your arrangement, adds interest to your design as well. Will have another piece to show you soon. 05.01.2022 M&B Jan/2019 Mistys bouquet~ Where did the time go, it only feels like a couple of months have passed since these two lovelies got married and we are nearly in Oct. This is why I love my job so much, the people you meet. The first time I met Misty was when I handed her, her bouquet. I will never forget her massive welcoming smile and hug.
