18.01.2022 A heads up that we still have vacancies at the upcoming Valve Heaven Amp Schools in Sydney and the Barossa Valley. Come and join us for a brilliant weekend learning about valve amps as you build your own Lamington Lite amp! Details here: http://www.valveheaven.com/amp-school/

17.01.2022 Have received this review of a build of the Lamington Lite amp: I knew I was going to enjoy the Lamington Junior but I also wanted something a little larger that I could use for small gatherings where a PA was not necessary, so I started a Lamington Lite build as I was completing the Lamington Junior. This amp also worked off the bat and I have to say that it has become one of my all-time favorites. It is simple to set up, the big clean tones are magical, and the overdriven sound is way too good for an amp that costs just a few hundred dollars to build. The thing I like most about the Lamington Lite is the clean headroom which is crystal clear it needs to be well up on the volume dial before it starts to break up so if you are looking for a great little amp that doesn’t cost a bomb this is the one to go for.

16.01.2022 I've just begun describing the development of a new amp design and thought I'd link it here. Enjoy! http://www.guitargear.net.au/discussion/index.php

16.01.2022 Have just heard from a keen Lamington builder who sent me an interesting review of my Lamington amps and thought I'd post it on my website for others to check out: http://www.valveheaven.com//an-in-depth-review-of-the-lam/

15.01.2022 Just concluded a brilliant Amp School in Sydney. I received this great email from one of the students: "Thanks Grant for a very enjoyable week end building the Lamington Lite. I had a great time with a great bunch of likeminded people. The amp itself is remarkably great sounding and easily rates with the current batch of Boutique point to point amps as well as the vintage mainstays. Hooked it up to a 2 x 12 Mesa black shadow cabinet and it instantly has become my favourite clean amp. As I said at the course it represents an absolute bargain when you consider you walk out with a point to point wired amp. All the best for the future and thank you once again."

15.01.2022 Merry Christmas from Valve Heaven! Wishing you all the best for a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Here is the adorned Valve Heaven Christmas tree with a festive 335 in pride of place!

10.01.2022 The Solo - a new single ended output amp design. I have recently posted the design for a new amp design on my website at https://valveheaven.com///the-solo-a-10w-single-ended-amp/ It differs from most of my designs as it uses only one output valve to produce 10W of power from a lone EL34 or 6L6 valve. I have been pleased with the amp and it certainly provides a different tone from a typical 10W push-pull amp. Cheers!

09.01.2022 Have just developed a new amp using a 6CM5/EL36 valve in a single ended design. To my knowledge this has not been done before. Full details here: https://www.guitargear.net.au/discussion/index.php

06.01.2022 I have recently developed a new amp design that I am quite proud of - the Lamington SOLO. It is a 10W single-ended EL34 amp that has a unique sound. I am currently developing the resources to release diy kits for this amp - watch this space! You can see details here: http://www.guitargear.net.au/discussion/index.php
